Base-Themes
Oy, thought I had most of my ideas pretty much worked out… appears that my mind is working against me. 
First of all, I come to realize that I am quite visually orientated, and therefor the theme and its lay-out pop into my mind even before content. I have been thinking about the theme I want for quite a while, have it sketched and ready on paper, but now comes the difficult part: The actual coding of the theme.
As I want a good base for this theme I have to choose, and at the moment it is between 2 existent themes:
- The earlier mentioned Squible
- Binary Bonsai’s K2
The stupid thing is that a choice like this one can really influence my mood and direction of thoughts.
But I must say that I really want to look at the near future and the fact that WordPress version 2.0 is on its way, and that K2 will totally adapt to that version from now on… might just pull me over the line.
Besides that, the Squible version I have in mind as example, still can act as example…
Mmm, so I instead of my initial plan of installing WP 1.5.2 on my sites, I will go for the release candidate 1 of WP 2.0 and start working on my adaption of K2. Curlysoul will get an upgrade later on…
