True that business-blogging is really booming at the moment. More and more companies see advantages of using yet another channel to promote their corporate image. Through business weblogs they give visitors a more personal view into their strategies, processes and products. Quite often the weblogs steer the customer towards a certain product under the pretense of advising him or her.

But why oh why… Why do many companies display adsense or yahoo advertisements on their weblogs???

It is something I cannot understand. To me it looks really cheap, often works confusing for the reader and it makes me wonder if the company is financially healthy. If they want to generate extra revenue through ads on their business’ weblog, does that mean that they do not make enough through their products or services?
