 I have been stunned by the many updates of ecto the past few days, but man!, it sure does deliver and has totally rewon its position as my main blogging tool.

For quite some time, I used ecto to prepare my posts on different blogs, published the drafts and did the final publishing from WordPress’ web interface.

Then somehow I changed my workflow and actually used the web interface only, kinda fed up with double work.
Then I started to get fed up with the behaviour of the rich text editor of WordPress and looked at the ecto 3 beta version that is under heavy development right now.

Since a few weeks I am fully back to ecto again and it has seen quite some updates… bringing only more goodies to its already slick and intuitive UI and workflow.

Most important is that it brings great peace to my online work to have 1 place to manage different blogs with the feeling that every post from it will be displayed as I have in mind. The added value of ecto for me is mainly that it is built and operated in a for me intuitive way. The integration of external sources like Flickr and Amazon totally complements the way I want to optimally use my blog editor.

Thanks Adriaan! Ecto is what makes my blogging world go round!
