Camino Browser

Preferring Safari over Firefox for surfing, Firefox over Safari for online WYSIWYG editing in WordPress, I decided to try CAMINO.
Not even using it for 24 hours, but:
installing was a breeze- importing bookmarks was click click
- displaying of any kind of media works splendid
- browsing/scrolling is smooooooth
- TinyMCE works like it should
Best of both worlds: Looks like I found myself a new default browser…

I only thing I would like to say is that scrolling is not smooth at all! In fact, Camino is one of the worst browsers when it comes to smooth scrolling. But hey, apart from that the browser is very nice!

Just incase you didn’t know, Camino blocks AdSense. I looked at this post via Firefox and via Camino and your AdSense didn’t show in Camino.

Mmm, funny to read this, USTommyMC. Seems that this problem is due to certain configuration that I myself do not have… strange and worth some investigation!

I actually found out that its a simple check in the Camino Preferences. Under the Web Features Preference Pane just uncheck Block web advertising and adsense and other ads will show up. Just in case you didn’t know that is.
