“Oh my God!!!”

I do not know how many times a minute this is blurted out all over the world in whatever language…
Still I wish people were taking more literal the thing they are saying. In my view it would be the end of dispute, fight or even war because of religion.

Why can people not keep their religion – and with that their God – strictly to themselves? Having faith in any kind of upper-being is very personal, but still it has gathered people into enormous masses and terrifying movements all over the world.
Why is it so hard for many people to accept that not everyone has the same “God”? We are all different, so it makes sense that each individual has his own truth on what his or her “God” is.
So when I scream “Oh my God!”, that stands for my little mixture of believes, feelings, flowing knowledge and “something up there”, of which I am sure nobody on earth has the same vision…

So why should I feel offended when somebody shouts out: “Oh my God!”? That is his or hers… NOT mine… I might be interested in the other person’s believes, but it cannot insult MY God !!!

Faith is personal, keep it to yourself… except when asked for.
Peace out!
